چکیده

This paper presents a plan-based architecture for response generation in collaborative consultation dialogues, with emphasis on cases in which the system (consultant) and user (executing agent) disagree. Our work contributes to an overall system for collaborative problem-solving by providing a plan-based framework that captures the Propose-EvaluateModify cycle of collaboration, and by allowing the system to initiate subdialogues to negotiate proposed additions to the shared plan and to provide support for its claims. In addition, our system handles in a unified manner the negotiation of proposed domain actions, proposedproblem-solving actions, and beliefs proposed by discourse actions. Furthermore, it captures cooperative responses within the collaborative framework and accounts for why questions are sometimes

Collaborative Response Generation in Planning Dialogues

In collaborative planning dialogues, the agents have different beliefs about the domain and about each other; thus, it is inevitable that conflicts arise during the planning process. In this paper, we present a plan-based model for response generation during collaborative planning, based on a recursive Propose-Evaluate-Modify framework for modeling collaboration. We focus on identifying strateg...

Collaborative Interagent Communication: Architectural Requirements

We have been investigating collaborative expert-consultation dialogues in which two participants (the executing agent and the consultant) work together to construct a plan for achieving the executing agent’s domain goal. Our analysis of naturally occurring dialogue and our search for an architecture for response generation in collaborative situations have led us to identify a number of features...

Automatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach

Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...

Learning Folksonomies for Trend Detection in Task-Oriented Dialogues

Dialogues are created by the interaction between people, who speak different kinds of topics using natural language. Task-oriented dialogue aims the solution of a given task in a given domain. Dialogues and folksonomies have in common their ...
